I am very happy with the training I received, and the way this school is set up. My days of training were 9 hours of 1 on 1 with an hour lunch. My instructor was Mike, he was funny, had a great attitude and was very knowledgable. The way he taught made learning fun, and easy. My examiner was Alex he was very professional. During the test, but was also fun and light hearted, when he could be. Overall I was super impressed. And think this is a terrific school and great staff. THANKS KPDI!!!

Recently took the 3 day Class A CDL course with road test at the end of the 3rd day with Alex and Kenai Peninsula Driving Instruction. The whole process from the first phone call to my road test and instruction was very professional. Alex doesn’t just know the information he is very good at passing it onto his students. I was looking for the opportunity to get training and a road test and every place I talked to in Anchorage and Palmer put me on a waitlist and informed me they would call me when they were ready. Being that I work on the slope I needed to set a date ahead of time. I tried to put deposits down on set dates and no one was willing to work with me until I found Alex and KPDI. I live on the peninsula so not having to pay for a hotel on top of training was nice. We were able to find a date that worked for both of us, I provided a deposit and scheduled my 3 day class. I didn’t have to wait and wonder for a call back only to find it didn’t fit with my schedule. All correspondence were quick and professional. If you are looking for any kind of CDL instruction or road tests KPDI is who you want to call.

Everyone I dealt with was professional, personable, and very helpful – and they all wanted me to succeed. The office, rather than trying to get me to take the most expensive course, worked to ascertain the skills I had and to offer the appropriate course.
