DMV Services Update:
Our new location is open for you! Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm we are here to serve your DMV services needs.
Real ID’s & Licensing, Vehicle Transactions and more!
DMV Services: Alaska loves our veterans and here at Kenai Peninsula Driving, we do too! Did you know, that if you are an honorably discharged veteran, you can get a designator added to your license or ID card that can get you discounts at quite a few of veteran friendly shopping, dining, lodging, and entertainment businesses across the state? All you need to do is bring in your VA card, DD-214, letter from the VA, or retired military ID card and we can put the veteran designator on your card so you can get the savings started! The savings don’t end there though, if you have a 50% or more service-connected disability, you also qualify for a free and permanent vehicle registration, called a “P” Tab – to obtain your permanent registration just bring us a letter from the VA stating the percentage of your service-connected disability. If you want to proudly display your veteran status and represent your branch, we have you covered there too! We have veteran license plates for Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy available; For a fee of only $30 these plates are transferable and allow you to roll through town with a bit of well-earned pride!
Graduate Report: In July we had 15 students complete their CDL Training programs and pass their road skills exams. These students are already employed or have offers of employment already! Students who are new to the industry can access our job portal as well as our office staff actively working with local companies seeking drivers.
Maintaining a monthly list of jobs all over Alaska, KPDI will happily provide this information to former and current KPDI students upon request. They can also visit our job portal on our website. Email us for the PIN to access the job portal or a PDF of the monthly listings.
Our Programs: Our Alaska CDL programs are one to one training every day. Our drivers are driving up to 200 miles per day, therefore, You’ll get more seat time with KPDI!
